Bipolar depression is a condition when the sufferer remains in high complexities. Bipolar depression is also known as manic depression, bipolar affective disorder. It is generally categorized into two terms one is manic episode which is a highly complex phase, and depressive episodes which are low complex phase. The common characteristic of Bipolar depression may occur in childhood (not always), adulthood (most often) and may last for lifelong.

Bipolar Disorder Types
The four main types of bipolar depression are the following:
Bipolar I – the first bipolar disorder type involves mixed mood swing, in this type a person may encounter both manic and mixed depressed episodes. This may last either for few weeks or for days and then patient again goes back into depression.
Bipolar II – the second type of bipolar disorder involves high episode of depression, which is also known as hypo mania. It undertakes normal state of depression and patient may remain confused about things, this may also gets affects by seasonal changes.
Cyclothymic Disorder – in this type of bipolar disorder, episodes may not occur as frequently as occur in other types of bipolar depression. However, it is considered as the most mild type of depression phase that last for less frame of time.
